AWS Truewind, LLC, is seeking a Project Coordinator. The position will entail execution of small and large scale feasibility studies for both on-site and commercial wind energy facilities, working with internal and external parties to organize the various components needed to initiate, run and conclude various projects, project coordination including budget development and tracking, planning and monitoring project status, maintaining the project plan, directing and motivating the project team as appropriate, and performing general client management.

Experience with GIS (ERSI, ArcGIS) software, applying spatial analysis tools, and working in the raster environment is desirable. 

The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to work effectively with clients and staff, meet deadlines and budgets, perform critical analyses of sensitive data, assess model results, and communicate effectively. Experience in the wind industry or in power generation is strongly preferred, but qualified candidates from other fields requiring similar skills will be considered.

The person will report to the Director of Project Services.

Education

Minimum of a Bachelors in Engineering, Management or a technical field required.

Experience

Two years prior experience is preferred but not required.

Location

This position will be located in Albany, NY. Some travel will be required.
