As a first step, windNavigator lets you explore, free of charge, a 2.5 km resolution wind map that instantly delivers the modeled mean annual wind speed at any clicked location for three different heights. You also automatically receive the minimum and maximum mean annual speed available within the selected location based on higher resolution (200 m) information.
For those who want to dig more deeply, windNavigator enables you to purchase a high-resolution (200 m) wind map over an area of your choosing. The map can be delivered either as a PDF map image alone, or as both a PDF map image and a complete GIS dataset compatible with most mapping software programs.
